Google Classroom

All pupils and parents have access to their class Google Classroom page. Google Classroom is used to inform parents and pupils of any events that are taking place within the school. It is also used to record individual and guided group reading observations in school and at home. This enables parents to keep up to date with their child's progress in reading. Maths and Literacy homework is uploaded to the class pages fortnightly and this work is responded to with written feedback or oral feedback using the 'Mote' add on. In addition, teachers use Google Classroom to upload lesson resources under each AOLE. Parents are able to keep up to date with what their child is learning about and pupils also have the opportunity to revisit lessons taught.

During lockdown Google Classroom was also used to add daily asynchronous lessons and daily Google Meet virtual check ins.

Seesaw

The Seesaw app is used to record practical activities and observations that are carried out in the areas of provision indoors and outdoors.
