The Learning Environment
At Coety Primary our Foundation Phase learning environment provides a welcoming and safe space for our pupils to practice, develop and refine their skills. We aim to do this by organising our enhanced and continuous provision through the following areas:
Reading Area Writing Area Maths Area Construction Area
Small World Role Play Area Investigation Area
Music Area Sand/Water Area Creative Area Malleable Area
ICT Area Outside Area Painting Area
Not all of these areas may be available at all times. Pupils will, however, be able to practice and consolidate skills in these areas over time and regularly. The continuous and enhanced provision will vary depending on the learners age and their stage of development as well as their interests and the space available.
